Hello,

lately more and more members wanted to add "high" manipulated photography into the group Gallery.
Normaly we declined this images.

Why:

First, cause we see a clear difference between real photography and photomanipulations.
Photomanipulation is an own category here in dA, it doesn´t even belongs to the photography category itselfs, but to the "digital Art" category.

Second, the main aim from our group "compact camera world" is to show that you don´t need a SLR camera OR Photoshop to make great photography.
For this we want the real photography, not something you turned a picture into.

We talked about this lately and we decided to ask you about the possibility of an new Gallery folder named "photomanipulations"

Don´t get us wrong, the main aim doesn´t change.
Because of this we would manage it like this, every member will be able to upload one photomanipulation in a month, not more.
This is an offer for an middle ground.

so what do you say? If there a more than ten members asking for it, we will create the folder.

It´s sad that only a few read the rules.
